Dr Connor is an AI-assisted Socratic tutoring service designed for sixth form students. The service is provided by Dr Connor Ltd. By accessing or using Dr Connor, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, please do not use the service.

2. Eligibility

This service is intended for students aged 16 and over enrolled at a participating school. Schools accessing the pilot programme agree to take responsibility for communicating these terms to students before use.

3. Acceptable use

You agree to use this service only for legitimate educational purposes. You must not:

  • Submit harmful, abusive, or inappropriate content
  • Attempt to circumvent safeguarding features
  • Share login credentials with others
  • Use the service in a way that disrupts other users

4. Data and privacy

We collect only the data necessary to provide the service. Data is stored on UK-based servers and handled in accordance with UK GDPR. We do not sell personal data to third parties. Conversation logs may be reviewed by Dr Connor Ltd for safeguarding and research purposes.

5. Safeguarding

The service includes automated safeguarding monitoring. Content that triggers a concern may be flagged and reviewed by a member of the Dr Connor team or the school’s designated safeguarding lead. If you are in crisis, please contact a trusted adult or call a relevant helpline immediately.

6. Intellectual property

All content, branding, and software associated with Dr Connor is the intellectual property of Dr Connor Ltd unless otherwise stated. You may not reproduce or distribute any part of the service without written permission.

7. Limitation of liability

Dr Connor is an AI-assisted tool and does not constitute professional academic advice. The service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. Dr Connor Ltd is not liable for any outcomes arising from reliance on the service.

8. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms. Material changes will be communicated to participating schools.
